Church Monument Conservation

We have worked to conserve and repair many hundreds of church monuments over the past twenty five years, from simple box tombs to grand freestanding monuments.

Lettercutting

To complement our sculptural and masonry areas of expertise we often undertake lettercutting in limestone, slate and more unusual local stones such as Blue Lias. We have recut the lettering to many war memorials around the south west.

Gilding

This weather cock form Marshfield church in Wiltshire was taken down repaired and regilded in our Frome workshops.
